JCI Syria
Syria is the third country
in the Arab world to establish a chapter of the
JCI; young Syrian entrepreneurs
are looking forward to the opportunities this new
organization is sure to create.
ICC (International Chamber
of Commerce) is the voice of world business championing
the global economy as a force for economic growth,
job creation and prosperity. As one of the most
important international agencies working to bring
business closer, ICC activities
cover a broad spectrum including managing dispute
resolution, advocating for a market driven economy,
fighting corruption and combating commercial crime.
In Syria, the ICC has
sponsored the establishment of
JCI Syria in order to enhance teamwork in
the society and make ICC
knowledge and experience available for the new Syrian
generation. Both ICC and
JCI Syria will work together
to provide networking opportunities to young business
people on the local, regional and international
levels. JCI will also offer
seminars on leadership skills, strategic planning,
communication and personal development.
JCI aims to raise the awareness
and the responsibility towards the community, and
whenever possible, chapters conduct projects to
raise community and social awareness.
JCI is actively involved
in the main four major areas of opportunities being
an active organization in these fields for the youth:
individual, community, international and business
areas.
From New York, Osaka to Dakar and Warsaw to Aleppo,
young professionals are continuing to join the
JCI to network, develop
professional and business skills and work for positive
change around the world. JCI’s
entrance into the Syrian business community promises
to enhance the ability of young business people
to improve their companies and network successfully
for years to come.
