As a part of the College Admissions Arab Mentorship Program (CAAMP) for the Arab Students Organization at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and in cooperation with Nawatt Labs in Syria; a group of American students from MIT visited JCI Aleppo during their tour in the MENA region.
International Area at JCI Aleppo has organized the first event in 2011 by holding a public information session for CAAMP; they discussed the following:
College Admissions and Pursuing Educational Opportunities in the United States
• The application process: GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, SAT, personal essays…etc.
• Financial aid
• Visa logistics
• Student life
• Research opportunities, college experience…etc.
• Q & A session
The presentation was quite useful for those who are seeking for educational opportunities in the U.S.
